No.3...
Mike went solo tonight and followed a woodcock around through mud and water before dropping the net... getting the hang of this...
Gryllo's been busy recently ringing at feeders at Holten Lee.
See Gryllos blog for more info. Pics from there. http://gryllosblog.wordpress.com/2011/06/22/gryllos-blog/

At Last!!!
Finally, after several attempts we have managed to dazzle and ring a Woodcock. The Poole Harbour lights have always made dazzling/lamping tricky in our area. However, last night we followed a woodcock around for a few minutes before landing the net!

Welcome to our Blog!
2012 has been a busy one for SRG.
At last we had some decent Easterly winds and two Aquatic Warblers were caught and ringed at Lytchett Bay.
Over 2000 birds ringed at Durlston, highlights being several Pied Flys and at last something unusual back in October when a Barred Warbler turned up. Hopefully more to come next year and fingers crossed for some recoveries!
